LBC by Korus revolutionizes furniture purchasing with Leasecom
The designer LBC by Korus relies on Leasing Circular® to bring the office furniture market into the era of the economy of use.
Context
In the era of remote working and flex offices, quality of life at work and space design are key factors in retaining employees, particularly the famous “Gen Z.”
But when it comes to adapting spaces and furnishings to changing lifestyles, CAPEX investments lack flexibility.
It is better to opt for leasing to be more agile. This conviction was reinforced for LBC by Korus immediately after Covid. However, the company found it difficult to convince its partners: unlike car fleets or computers, the furniture market is not yet ripe for leasing.
Solution
LBC by Korus decided to leverage the ESG argument to convince customers to choose leasing to finance their furniture.
Together with Leasecom, an “all-inclusive” offer was co-designed, which includes the collection, repair, and reuse of furniture at the end of the contract.
Maintenance services are also included: to extend the useful life of desks, furniture, and chairs, Leasecom technicians visit once a year to tighten screws, adjust mechanisms, or clean surfaces.
As light wood is currently in vogue, this service is particularly appreciated by customers.
Benefits
Leasecom’s ESG-certified offering enabled LBC by Korus to sign its first major contract with a CAC 40 company.
The financing allowed for the purchase of high-quality furniture, which is normally very expensive.
By spreading their investments over time, customers can equip themselves with high value-added products, thereby contributing to well-being at work and the attractiveness of the employer.
Customer testimonial
« ESG regulations are a real headache for our customers, that’s clear.
With Circular Leasing® and our partnership with Leasecom, we can guarantee them the traceability of the furniture at the end of the contract.
They will receive all the official documents relating to the second life of the furniture: those recycled because they are too damaged, those repaired and reused.
This is essential for the CSRD… »
