Holland Bikes, France's leading bike rental company, accelerates its B2B growth with Leasecom

For more than twenty years, Holland Bikes has been a key player in sustainable mobility in France, establishing itself as the country’s leading bicycle rental company.

In 2023, it recorded a turnover of €16 million, with growth of 30%.

A significant portion of this business, more than 60%, comes from renting electric bikes to companies, particularly tour operators.

This trend is supported by the growth of ecotourism, but it poses a major challenge: rapidly increasing the bike fleet to meet growing demand.

A solution to support expansion

To meet this challenge, Holland Bikes turned to Leasecom.

This collaboration provides access to flexible financing contracts, optimizing the management of electric bikes and facilitating their resale on the second-hand market.

Reselling at the right time, especially for electric models, is essential.

Thanks to Leasecom, Holland Bikes is able to respond to growing demand while continuing to innovate and meet the needs of its B2B customers.

Implementation of the contract

In May 2023, Leasecom launched its first collaboration with Holland Bikes.

The contract enabled the financing of 1,000 electric bikes worth €1 million.

The success of the operation quickly led to the renewal of the contract for the same amount, in order to support business customers with the latest generation models.

Unlike traditional five-year bank financing, the leasing solution offered by Leasecom gives Holland Bikes the flexibility to renew its fleet of electric bikes every season.

This flexibility is essential to facilitate the resale of bikes in the Netherlands after a few months of use.
